Hot New Finds!
Welcome back everyone, Hope you have all had a great week! I found an absolute game changer at an affordable price, so I thought it would be only natural to share it with you all. I had been hearing really great things about the new L'Oreal foundation and concealers all over Youtube, so naturally I thought I would have to give them a go myself to see if they really are worth all of the fuss.
I went to my local boots and picked up the foundation and two of the concealers in different shades. I hastily decided to test out the new products on a night where I was actually going out. If that isn't the ultimate test for a new foundation and concealer than I don't know what is... Thankfully they all delivered really nicely.
The foundation is the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear in the shade 110 Rose Vanilla. I must
admit when I was buying these products I was in a rush so I didn't take the time to properly shade match, I just grabbed whichever one looked ok and quickly hurried off and thankfully this was the perfect shade for my skin tone. This foundation also has really great coverage while not feeling too thick or heavy on the skin. I love that it doesn't have a super matte finish either, it actually looks like your own skin but better. It has a very satin like finish, it gives your skin a very healthy, fresh finish. I couldn't recommend it enough. The coverage is also fantastic, if you are trying to cover dark spots and acne scars like I am it will do a very good job, obviously it is not a concealer so it wont cover it entirely but it does a fantastic job at concealing most of your imperfections without giving a cakey finish.
The Concealer is the L'Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer, I bought it in two shades,
the first is shade 322 Ivory and the second is 327 Cashmere. These concealers are so full coverage, I honestly can only think of a few other concealers that rival these coverage wise. They are definitely a Tarte Shape Tape Dupe with their consistency and coverage. The first shade Ivory was honestly a bit too light for me, it works well paired with the Cashmere shade underneath my eyes but I honestly think it is a bit too bright for under my eyes on its own. The second shade cashmere is a great shade for under my eyes on its own but it is a little bit too light for spot concealing on top of my foundation so I am definitely going to go and pick up another darker shade for that. It does work nicely to conceal spots under my foundation but it is just slightly too light for over the top usage. These concealers though are actually so affordable and so flawless if you're looking for a high coverage concealer on a lower budget. They can apply very thick though so be careful not to go in with a heavy hand, I just do light dots and blend it out and add more as I need it.
All of these products are so buildable and wearable during the day or at night. I genuinely couldn't recommend them more especially if you prefer a medium to full coverage look. I wouldn't recommend the concealers if you don't like a full coverage concealer as they are not as buildable as the foundation.
If you have tried these products let me know in the comments what you think, or if you have found any other new foundations that you want me to review let me know.
